Isn't saying "No Offense" a bad thing in diversity?

sollimon

Most people have heard the words, "no offense" moments before they felt offended. Although forewarned sometimes means forearmed, in this case, it usually means tensing up and preparing for attack. Here at No Offense, we're creating opportunities we hope will help people avoid this exact situation, because they won't need to say it or ask- they will have already reached for the No Offense mobile app or contacted us about a Sticky Situation. The No Offense logo is a Mpatapo, a symbol of reconciliation and peace after conflict. What happens when access to diversity is merely swipes away, not for work or training, but because you have a question affecting your everyday life? Given the opportunity, will people choose to cause No Offense?
